I’m Janna Mama (a.k.a. Mama Janna, depending on who you ask). I’m a mom, a wife, and a physical therapist.

Throughout my life, I’ve always had a passion for promoting wellness and helping others live their best lives in a way that’s authentic and realistic for them. It’s what led me to become a physical therapist in the first place.

After I had my son, I experienced firsthand the struggles that come with being a working mom. I decided to create this blog to share my experience with other working moms who want to find ways to improve their well-being and find some balance amidst the chaos.

Working mom life can be tough and, at times, overwhelming. Most of us deal with time limitations, inadequate self-care, imbalances between work and family, social stigma and judgement, unrealistic expectations, poor sleep, low energy, and mental and emotional drain – all while trying to operate at full capacity for our colleagues, friends, and families. But is there a place where we can balance all that and thrive? I think so. How do we get there? Finding that sweet spot between work, family, and self is key.

This blog is a reflection of my own experiences being a working mom – a little silly, a little serious. It’s for all the working moms who are on the continuous search to find balance and a sense of well-being.
