
I’m Janna Mama (a.k.a. Mama Janna, depending on who you ask). I’m a mom, a wife, and a physical therapist.
Throughout my life, I’ve always had a passion for promoting wellness and helping others live their best lives in a way that’s authentic and realistic for them. It’s what led me to become a physical therapist in the first place.
After I had my son, I experienced firsthand the struggles that come with being a working mom. I decided to create this blog to share my experience with other working moms who want to find ways to improve their well-being and find some balance amidst the chaos.
Working mom life can be tough and, at times, overwhelming. Most of us struggle with limited time for self-care, unhealthy work-life balance, unrealistic social expectations, poor sleep and physical health, burnout, and emotional stress – all while trying to operate at full capacity for our colleagues, friends, and families. This blog was created in response to those challenges to help other working moms find balance and thrive.
