About Me: Hi, I’m Janna. I’m a mom, wife, and physical therapist. My husband and I spend our evenings and weekends chasing our highly energetic toddler boy around and doing our best to keep him out of the emergency room. Most days, I’m just doing my best to maintain some kind of balance amidst the chaos. Some days (many days) I fall short, but that’s part of the journey.
About The Blog: I started this blog to share the early experiences and insights of being an everyday working mom. It’s meant to be part guide, party story, part personal rant through the stages of early working motherhood – from pregnancy to the early years before kindergarten.
The Why Behind The Blog: Working moms face unique challenges at every stage in the journey, and it’s not always clear what to do or where to look for help. That’s especially true if you, like me, don’t have a village to rely on. I’ve come to realize that it’s mostly just a ‘figure it out as you go’ deal. This blog was born out of my desire to help fill in some of those gaps I experienced myself in my own early working motherhood journey.
So whether you’re looking for encouragement, information, validation, a new perspective, or just to know that you’re not alone in the struggle, welcome.
